What Happened to Southall?

This resident-led analysis report compiles evidence revealing a consistent pattern of decisions by Ealing’s Labour leadership that have concentrated disadvantage in Southall’s most deprived communities. It is 70 pages plus glossary and endnotes. Find it’s Key Summary below.

First published on Friday 27th March and marked with a launch event and community discussion in Southall Green that evening – which saw a number of local residents volunteer their time to do a community-review and final proofread of the report to help us prepare it for print. Any revisions made to the report during this review will also be shared via an updated digital version of it. This second edition will be uploaded online in the coming days. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the launch event and for all the valuable feedback – we are deeply grateful for and encouraged by your support.

Also coming soon is a short video that will explain our approach and findings. We had hoped that this would be ready in time for the launch event but we still working on it. And so return back soon to check it out. If you would like to be notified about when its up online, send us an email and we’ll keep you posted: communitypoweredreporting@proton.me
